We live in a very hard world these days, with so many different struggles going on from depression, stress, anxiousness...the list goes on.
The question is, are you helping to build up or tear down?
Do you know that we have the POWER to do that.
That God has given us, TRUSTED us, to build another up.
But the question is, do we?
Do you stop the people in front of you, who are gossiping about another? Or do you join in?
Would you be comfortable talking about this same subject in front of them?
I am guilty of this.
I have been praying for Gods forgiveness and his help in teaching me to keep my mouth shut in these times.
To not talk about other people unless it is of goodness.
To remind myself before I speak, is it true, kind, or necessary?
Am I building up or tearing down?
This is one of the MOST precious gifts that God has given us to do for each other.
When you see someone you know suffering, going through their own trials...are you helping them? Are you reaching out to them?
Even if its just a text or email...are you helping in giving them the affirmation that they need to know that they are LOVED.
That they are SPECIAL.
Are we telling them of Gods amazing grace?
There are so many out there..including me, that need words of affirmation.
Who doesnt need to know that they are loved, cared for, admired, special, and so much more.
God has given us a job...now is the time to do it right.
“Think twice before you speak(or text!), because your words and influence will plant the seed of either success or failure in the mind of another.” Napoleon Hill.
Let no corrupting talk come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for building up, as fits the occasion, that it may give grace to those who hear.
