Broccoli in a smoothie? Weird..but it worked. It blended in with the fruits and tasted fine. The greens combined blended to create a vivid green. As for avocados..weird again.. Yet blending it together made it creamier. It didn't counteract the smoothie but added to it.
It's the same way with us.
My church for example is full of reformed Christians.
We have alcoholics, drug addicts, and more.
Gods disciples? You have the sons of thunder, James the "less",doubting Thomas..then there is Saul..reformed to Paul, who persecuted Christians!
So God knows the crazy things we can come with and He brings us out of them.
Just like the weird ingredients of a smoothie, He takes each of our characters and blends us together to create something dynamic! Where we are weak, He makes us strong.
We are ALL worthy of our Christ's love and never unredeemable..
Never ever think otherwise..the Bible tells us so
For if Saul accepted Christ into his life and turned to Paul..I would think that his life is the perfect example to point to in any struggle.
Have anger problems?
I mean, what a more stunning example as to how big
an impact God has, as to look how John turned out. From anger to love and peace.
Now that's the God I know
Struggling? Just let
go and let God!
1 John 1:8-9 ESV
If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
John 3:16-17 ESV
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.
Romans 5:8 ESV
But God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
This base is good for anything to add to, like any fruits/etc.
The base consists of green grapes(not red)as they are more subtle in taste..bananas add a creamy consistency, and then almond/or soy milk. I love added green tea to it as I love the taste and also the benefits from it. The best way to add green tea, is to make a batch ahead of time and freeze them ina ice cube tray..that way you get that thicker frozen consistency without watering it down.
So base as follows
1 cup frozen grapes
1 bananas frozen
1 cup kale
1/2 cup soy/almond milk
1 Tsp flaxseed
you can add any fruit or greek yogurt..or leave it as is ;)
