"It's my time to go..I don't want to live anymore!"
No truer words could be heard from a desperate heart. Filled
with no hope, deep depression, and can see no light at the end of the tunnel. These words
were about the same words told to me by a woman who had run to help another woman who had crashed her car. As a friend of mine and I stood outside talking, we had witnessed a car that had obviously been in a wreck, drive slowly off the road, parts of the car falling off as she went. Her gaze never wavering, no panic obvious at all as she drove.
We watched in shock as she drove down into the field and into a tree, then smoke billowing from the car. The people behind her jumped out and ran to help..and she cried words
similar to this when they came to her rescue.
As the story unfolded, true she was most likely under some type of drug or influence, but how sad.
I kept thinking about her this weekend. To purposely run off the road and into a tree to kill yourself. What life has she led to reach this point of desperation? We are quick to judge and point fingers to her being messed up, but have we also considered what life has dealt her that led to to this day? What personal hell has she experienced in her life? The reason I know there is a story is because of mine and my life. The only thing that kept me going was my child at home..my family. They were the reason I am where I am now. I praise God daily, hourly for His promises and His hope to pull us out of times like this. Is there hope for this girl? I most definitely say so..will someone step in to help her? God is always right there at any moment, all we need to do is let Him in. So my prayer this morning is that the Holy Spirit will touch her heart and give her hope where she has none.
I pray also for a day that maybe even I could reach out to help her or someone like her. This is my goal in life..this is my destiny until my Jesus comes to bring me home..
Don't judge or condemn people for what they've don't to you;God doesn't condemn you for the hurts you have caused Him. He forgives you. Treat others the same way. Have a giving attitude in all you do and you'll get back more then you give. God will return blessings to you abundantly-packed in and flowing over. Whatever you give out to others will be given back to you.
Now lets talk about smoothies! This one is crisp and very fresh tasting..I would recommend making sure everything is frozen ahead of time as it just makes for a thicker, colder smoothie..
