"Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding;"
Yes..as the words drifted to me..I knew it was God reminding me to not be swayed by worries, anxieties, the world..words..that God has a bigger better picture then any of us could even imagine. We may worry and doubt each day in worldly things..but why? Why do we have such little faith? Why do we let the words of people and world sway us away from Gods ever faithful love? We just need to let go completely and trust God in each step we take. This morning, I found a piece of paper that had fallen out of my Bible(poor thing is falling apart). As I read, I was convicted it wasn't laying there by mistake. It was Revelation. A book in the Bible that seems to be avoided among many due to it's heaviness. I prayed for Gods discernment and as I read, I felt my body shaking. The words that were so confusing before, sank deep into my mind. The impending time we are facing ever more affecting me. I want to be the one that endures all. I want to be the one that stands steadfast. I understand now what God is telling me. To stop concerning myself with the cares of this world and start focusing on His coming soon. I don't want to be the one that is lukewarm. To go about my life feeling okay with where I am. I want to be where my Father is. I want to shout to the world of His coming soon. To spread the gospel to every kindred and nation. It's time to awake from our slumber and look around us. To see the signs of the end times and be alive in Christ.
Lord, dearest Heavenly Father, make me on fire for You. Speak through me and help me shine for You. To remain steadfast in Your ways and not conformed to the worlds. It's going to get harder and more difficult. Give me the strength to stand firm and not be moved.
Since you have obeyed me and kept my word and endured because of me, I will keep you during the time of trouble that will come on the whole world to test those who live on the earth. I want to say to those who will be living at that time, don't become discouraged, because I will come quickly to save you. Hold on to what you have and don't let anyone rob you of your faith and cause you to lose your crown. He who remain steadfast I will make like a pillar in the sanctuary of my God. He will never have to leave. I will inscribe on his heart the name of my God, which is New Jerusalem, and my own new name. If you have a ears to hear, then listen to what the Holy Spirit is telling you.
